Basically, adjustable melt gaps for full-layer and coating dies can also be installed in conventional pipe extrusion lines. They can be controlled either separately via mechanical +/- operation or by integration into the battenfeld-cincinnati line control system. At customers‘ request and following technical consultation, it is possible to install an additional co-ex outer layer distributor and/or a color striping ring in the adjustable melt gap.
